November 2011 SUSQUEHANNA CROSSROADS Tioga Opportunities, Inc. “Susquehanna Crossroads:" a series of artistically-rendered photographs highlighting our connection with the Susquehanna River environment. Considering the recent flood that transformed our region into a federal disaster area, this bond remains despite the devastation caused. This project showcases the artist’s view of this undeniable connection as we find ourselves on the cusp of surrender to a different force eyeing our river environment, that of hydrofracking. The art integrates painted imagery with photographs of the Tioga County Historical Society Museum, and Courthouse. Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Program, and administered locally by The ARTS Council of the SouthernFinger Lakes.
