Rockcut Waterfall Pool Water Falling charcoal, 40x32" Relationships, both natural and imposed, inspire me to create art, with an emphasis on partnerships and the keys that trigger their collective bond. I draw upon my love of nature and ethnic traditions, the pressing concerns of the global present, and cultures I have come to know, value, and respect.
My work is shaped by my attention to crossovers that affect the boundaries and use of this land, and for those who share this land. My portfolio consists of drawing, painting, hand-pulled prints, and computer-generated imagery which integrates my hands-on work with photography. My art is idea-based, rather than driven by any particular medium. I also welcome site-specific opportunities. National exhibitions include: Blue Heron Gallery (Wyalusing, PA); North Bank Artists Gallery (Vancouver, WA); onstage with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at Artpark (Lewiston, NY), and with the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra (Ithaca, NY). Internationally, my art has been exhibited in Japan, Canada, and Germany.
